Around the world, the Population Council saves lives by conducting research to understand global health problems and to design and test local solutions. Your support will underwrite projects such as:

• Reducing violence against children and
  ending child marriage and female genital mutilation/cutting.

• Expanding access to HIV testing and

  antiretroviral therapy for newly infected
  HIV-positive individuals.

• Protecting girls at risk of HIV infection, early
  school dropout, and gender-based violence.

• Improving the quality of health services in the poorest countries.

• Developing contraceptives, identifying the
  causes of infertility, and developing new tools
  to detect and treat breast, prostate, and
  testicular cancer.

The Population Council is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization. Your gift is tax deductible in the United States in accordance with Internal Revenue Service regulations.
